Poems of Wang Pengyun

Wang Pengyun passed the provincial-level imperial examination in the 9th year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty, worked as Head of the Secretariat in the 13th year of the Guangxu reign and later got promoted to Supervisory Censor of Jiangxidao, Supervisory Censor of Jiangnandao and Ministry Censor of the Department of Rites. Wang was well-accomplished in the study of poetry. He was one of "the four great poets of the late Qing Dynasty". The Poems of Wang Pengyun was inscribed by him in person. The lower left corner is missing. The content of it is the first draft of his poems.
